Points to consider when buying a smartphone
If you're buying your first smartphone, you may be forgiven to think that any smartphone is okay with you! When it comes to smartphones, there's more than meets the eye. But it all starts with you.
You know yourself (I suppose ????) and that is the basis of your perfect smartphone. By knowing yourself i mean the kind of interests you may have regarding the modern world. Let me dig a little deeper here. Do you love Photos? How about games? Oh you're more of a music person? ???? This are the kind of points I'm talking about here.
Once you've identified your interests, it gets easier. To buy the right smartphone for yourself, focus on your interest and it's corresponding feature on a smartphone. You will be surprised how messy smartphone specs can be! Lets see what specs suit different personalities better.
We start by Photo lovers. If you love taking pictures (and videos) then you should be very keen on three things. First and foremost, the camera. It goes without saying i think. A photographer needs a good camera. Be sure to check the camera calibration indicated as MP. The higher the MP, the better the camera. for example a 40MP camera is way better than a 12MP camera. (MP stands for megapixels). Second thing you should consider is storage space. For a regular selfie enthusiast, 16GB is enough. A bigger storage is better, needless to say. The last thing you may want to consider is battery capacity. You really don't want your battery to die on you while on that superb hike in the woods ????. Battery capacity is in mAh. And obviously the higher the better.
The second type of users is the gamers. These are individuals who really love mobile games. First things first. You need a big screen no doubt. To view your game well, your screen should be big, not just in terms of dimensions but also the resolution. Make sure you consider this spec. The other very important thing is the RAM. It would be very useless to have a 6 Inch phone with less than 1GB for a gamer. Games can be memory hungry! Try to get a phone with a minimum of 2GB of RAM to enjoy your games without issues. Storage also matters especially if you like playing many different games. And lastly the battery capacity. You know why that matters, don't you?
